The jQuery Media Plugin supports unobtrusive conversion of standard markup into rich media content. The jQuery DD_belatedPNG plugin is a direct port of DD_belatedPNG, which allows you to use 24-bit alpha-translucent PNG images in image tags as well as for the background-image CSS property in Internet Explorer 6, supporting background positioning and background repeating. There is no usage of AlphaImageLoader, so this doesn't have the buggy z-indexing associated with that filter, and it responds to Javascript element.style assignments and the :hover pseudo-class.

This little plugin will allow you to position a footer at the bottom of the browser viewport when the content doesn't reach that far. It will not adjust the footer if the content goes below the viewport height.

This plugin adds support for scaling background images using a 9-grid. Developers can specify a grid for selected elements which causes the background-image to be scaled selectively, depending on what part of the grid the background lies.

Parts of the background which lie in the corners of the grid will not be scaled and parts in the sides of the grid will only be scaled in one direction.

HeatColor is a plugin that allows you to assign colors to elements, based on a value derived from that element. The derived value is compared to a range of values, either determined automatically or passed in, and the element is assigned a "heat" color based on its derived value's position within the range.
